Computer Labs

To book a lab - contact your school
office.

To get software installed in the lab, you
need to contact Faculty IT before the commencement of the semester.
Software cannot be installed during semester. Faculty IT acts as a
central point of contact when working with Scholarly Technology Services who
manage the actual lab computers

If you can't log on - contact Faculty IT

If you can't access your Faculty server
files, contact Faculty IT.

If the computers in the lab appear
"broken" - contact x55909 Infrastructure Services Helpdesk or Faculty IT who
can report on your behalf.

If you can't get into the labs, contact
Faculty IT.
Problems with ESP - the ANU's corporate
information system

If you don't have access - you need to
make a business case to your head of school and Faculty Secretary and/or
Business Manager.

If the ESP window won't open, contact
Faculty IT.

If you can't log in, call the DoI helpdesk
on x59666 (option 2)

If you are having problems in ESP itself
with say a report or clearing a transaction, contact x59666 (option 1)

If you can't print from ESP, contact
Faculty IT.
Problems with telephones

If you don't have a telephone, contact
your School Administrator (FEC staff and Phd/Hons contact Faculty IT)

If you have no dial tone or your Avaya
phone displays an error message, contact Faculty IT.

If your phone does not have the correct
access, ie can't dial local calls or STD (if permitted) - check with your
school office

School Administrators can obtain
assistance from Faculty IT at any time.

If you want your phone upgraded to an
Avaya IP phone with Calling Number Display, you need to make a case to
your Head of School/Area. They will then contact Faculty IT to make it
happen.
